I was scheduled to go back to Tanzania on June 25, but a few days before I received an email from an organization that normally supports us with $2,000 a month to help with administration costs. They informed me that they no longer have enough money to continue.
Then, on June 24, I received another email stating that my KLM flight had been canceled and I was rerouted through Paris instead of Amsterdam.
Because of the loss of this monthly support, I decided to continue traveling to raise the funds needed to replace the $2,000 monthly support.
So far, I have not yet seen an increase in monthly support, but I believe this may simply be because there has not been enough time for it to come in. I am trusting God and continuing to share the need.
We receive two more children, a six-year-old and seven-year-old. The father died a few years ago and the mother died a few days ago. Will send pictures in the next newsletter.
If everyone who is already supporting us would be willing to increase their giving by approximately 10–15%, we could very easily replace the $2,000 monthly support.
Please pray with us that God would provide, and that He would touch the hearts of individuals or organizations who may be willing to help us fill this gap. Every gift helps us continue caring for the children.
