As we continue through 2025, we’re excited to share some of our dreams and goals with you:
1. Expanding Our Livestock
We hope to grow our livestock to help feed our children and create a sustainable source of income. We currently have bulls, milk cows, goats, sheep, and chickens—but we need more in order to both feed the children and generate income through sales. Would you consider helping by Buying an animal? We raise the bulls for meat for the children, and one bull is approx.$150 and $750 for a Milk Cow, and $100 for Milk Goat. We also want to buy an egg incubator so we can hatch our own chicks, and it will cost approx. $450.
2. Strengthening Our Farming Efforts
Our farm continues to produce maize, corn, cabbage, green peppers, lentils, beans, and more. However, we’re limited in how much we can grow due to a lack of seedlings and farm supplies. We dream of being able to fully supply our children’s food needs and also sell the surplus to support the Village.
We’ve harvested this week an abundance of sunflowers, and we’re excited to produce sunflower oil from this blessing. We will be harvesting maze next week. Thank you for the seeds you’ve already planted—your love and support are bearing fruit!
